At Middleton International School Bangkok, we want every child to feel safe, happy, and known as an individual. We believe children learn best when they feel secure, supported, and confident that the adults around them genuinely care about their well-being. Creating that environment is one of our most important responsibilities as a school community.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff are trained in international child protection procedures and expected to approach their role with care, professionalism, and attentiveness. We work hard to create a culture where concerns are noticed early, listened to carefully, and responded to appropriately. Our school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who oversees all child protection matters and ensures our policies and practices meet the highest international standards.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the values of EtonHouse, we see children as capable individuals whose voices deserve to be heard. For us, safeguarding is not just about policies and procedures. It is reflected in everyday relationships, respectful interactions, and the trust we build with children and families over time.
