Atima Joshi

Ms Atima Joshi is the Executive Principal and Head of Pedagogy at Middleton International School Bangkok. An experienced educator, she has been part of the EtonHouse Education Group since 2003 and has held a range of leadership roles including Principal of Middleton International School, Vice-Principal of EtonHouse International School Broadrick and International Baccalaureate Primary Years’ Programme (IBPYP) Coordinator. She has also served as a coordinator across various subject areas and grade levels.

An approved IB educator and consultant, Ms Joshi previously held the Chair position for the Singapore-Malaysia International Baccalaureate PYP Network. She is regularly invited to speak at regional education conferences across the Asia-Pacific and delivers professional development workshops for educators. Over the years, she has contributed to numerous pedagogical committees and academic boards, supporting the growth of teaching and learning practices within the international education community. In addition to her leadership roles, she has extensive classroom experience teaching students across different age groups, including early years.

Ms Joshi holds a Master’s degree in Education from Australia and believes strongly in lifelong learning and continual growth. Known for her warmth, creativity and enthusiasm, she is passionate about creating environments where curiosity, wellbeing and academic learning are closely connected.

Outside the classroom, you may find her curiously exploring bugs with children or splashing in puddles with them amid joyful laughter. A strong believer in curiosity, positive psychology and mindfulness, Ms Joshi encourages students and educators alike to approach learning and life with wonder and openness.
